Starting early with music is known as one of the best things you can do for your child’s brain development.  The ideal time to introduce children to music is between the ages of 2 and 5 years. Studies show that the “language window” opens wide at 2, then slowly closes until it is shut at age 10. This “language window” also applies to learning to play a musical instrument. Children who are taught that music is important during this critical learning period develop a skill that will last a lifetime. Life skills are developed as a young child starts to learn to sing or play an instrument. What  better way to develop confidence, concentration and coordination than through learning music?
